Smith Micro Software released the Poser 9 and Poser Pro 2012. Both softwares feature Vertex Weight Map Rigging support, Subsurface Scattering, and Rendering Performance Improvements. The Pro 2012 model also features 64-Bit Application and FireFly Render Engine, Vertex Weight Map Editing Tool Suite, and Updated PoserFusion plugins and COLLADA support. Poser 9 is valued at $249.99, Poser Pro 2012 is valued at $499.99.
